Neil Young and his new band the Chrome Hearts will headline BST Hyde Park in London on July 11, where they will be joined by opening acts Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Van Morrison. This performance is part of Young’s Love Earth tour in support of his upcoming LP, Talkin’ to the Trees, which kicks off on June 18 in Rättvik, Sweden, and finishes up on September 15 in Los Angeles, and includes a high-profile headlining festival appearance at Glastonbury in June. BST pre-sale opens on March 3 at 10 a.m. GMT, while general on-sale starts on March 5 at 10 a.m. GMT. In additional Neil Young news, the musician has also just announced the release of a new live album, Coastal: The Soundtrack, which accompanies the documentary of the same name directed by his wife, Daryl Hannah. The album features stripped-down renditions of 11 classic songs performed during Young’s 2023 solo tour, including fan favorites like “Vampire Blues” and “Comes a Time.” The album is set to be released on April 18, with a nationwide screening of the documentary planned for April 17 at select theaters.
